A one-day workshop with Anji Loman Field
Monday March 13 - Central London
It's one of the most common questions TV drama executives ask when considering a new project - WHAT’S THE STORY?
However original your concept, however compelling your characters, without a clear storyline you’re unlikely to sell it. Stories hook people in and take them on a journey. If you don’t know where you’re taking your own characters, how can you expect anyone else to come along for the ride?
In this one-day, hands-on workshop we’ll dig deep into the storylining process, from the very definition of “story” through to mapping out plots over multiple episodes. We’ll look at story structure and turning points as well as how to plant intrigue, create tension and tease emotional responses from your audience.
WHO’S IT FOR?
Anyone who's interested in screenwriting, script-editing or developing scripted TV.
