Underwire is the UK’s only film festival celebrating female filmmaking talent across the crafts. It was co-founded by former Euroscript Board Member Gabriella Apicella and Gemma Mitchell to address gender imbalance in film and change the industry from the inside out. Founded in 1996, RIGA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is the only annual film festival in Latvia. Originally created to promote short film, the festival widened its range by adding a feature film competition program in its 2014 selection.
