Euroscript was created in 1995 by the Screenwriters' Workshop, with funding from the European Union’s Media II programme, with the aim of improving the quality of scripts going into production in Europe

Through intensive script development initiatives like The Euroscript Screen Story Competition, where writers are nursed through three drafts of their screenplay, and a broad training programme, and working in collaboration with writers and their producer/director teams, Euroscript’s goal is to facilitate the production of highest-quality marketable screenplays for film and television.
