Spend an intensively creative (and fun) day brainstorming, plotting, visualising and writing.
Leave with the fledgling screenplay of a narrative Short. Writing a full-length, feature-length script can be daunting. So take some time out to write a Short. Not only is it more likely you’ll get the script finished, but you’ll also stand a greater chance of getting it made and seen. Great Shorts tend to have memorable, idiosyncratic characters, a strong cinematic palette and, above all, a satisfying plot. This is difficult to pull off. Working alone, in pairs, and in groups you will:

FENELLA GREENFIELD is an indie filmmaker. She’s written and directed two narrative shorts and two features - 2.0 Lucy (WATCH THE FILM HERE) and 10 Swords & The Moon (2024). She’s a freelance trailer maker, TV promo maker, and editor. Her company also produces corporate videos for a wide range of international clients. She’s a founder member of Euroscript and runs its annual Screen Story Competition. One of her proudest achievements for her 10-minute Short PILL (filmed in her kitchen) was to win Official Selection in the End of Days Film Festival 2018 (nominated for Best Comedy) (WATCH HERE).
