3 hr hands-on workshop with Q&A ChatGPT, Grok, Copilot, Canva, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Firefox, Mid-Journey . . . . . . if these words make you want to dive under your duvet, this workshop is for you. Designed for writers, this fully hands-on tutorial will teach you how to use these tools to your advantage. We will focus on enhancing the creative writing process. Using text-based AI (ChatGPT and Copilot) you’ll learn how to enrich your characters, generate extra plot and improve your screenplay’s structure while maintaining your unique voice within best ethical practices. Using Mid-Journey and Adobe Firefly you’ll create images to stimulate and improve your character design and world building. Then we’ll focus on marketing your screenplay. You’ll learn how to tighten your treatments, pitch deck copy, marketing and social media texts using text-based AI. You’ll generate a pitch deck using Canva and Adobe Firefox, bringing them to life with generated images. Some of these tools are free, some are on subscription. We’ll go through the costs. Always mindful of the ethical pitfalls of using AI in our work, we’ll explore how to leverage these tools to our advantage while preserving our unique voice. Duration: ONLINE - 2.5 hours with Q&A - London time Your tutor, Fenella Greenfield, is an indie filmmaker. She’s produced/directed two features - 2.0 Lucy (2022) and 10 Swords & The Moon (2024). She’s a freelance trailer maker and editor. Her company also produces corporate videos for a wide range of international clients. She’s a founder member of Euroscript, runs its annual Screen Story Competition, and develops writers as a script editor. |

This workshop has been tailored to help you enter the very best submission to the 31st Euroscript Screenwriting Competition 2025. Write a great prose summary of your feature-length screenplay in no more than 750 words and submit it by the deadline, midnight, 31st March 2025. We also ask for ten pages of sample script from the screenplay story you are submitting. Our competition winner receives three Full Reports, usually running 10-15 pages on three drafts of their script. Other prizes include Full Reports and Barometer Reports on your screenplays. EVERYONE who enters receives feedback in the form of a 2-page Euroscript Treatment Barometer Report on their 750-word story summary.
