WRITING FOR ANIMATION
Animation never goes out of style, and the best animation can create timeless classics and huge hits. For a writer the opportunities are limitless.
But writing for animation also involves very specific skills, and you need to learn a new set of rules in order to practice the craft successfully. This workshop gives you the tools you need to develop those skills. Some of the dynamics of animation may not be quite as obvious as you think. Character, plot and story are definitely at the heart of a successful animated film or TV show, but the ways they function and develop can differ, sometimes in subtle ways, from the dynamics of live action. |
