Some of the greatest and most loved movies and TV series have come from this two-headed genre.

However, the genre also provides some of the most dangerous pitfalls, and many unwary writers have spent enormous effort developing their screenplays only to find their work failing to sell for apparently inexplicable reasons.

We will reveal the many important features that must be included. We will investigate clips from modern detective and crime movies, uncover essential clues to how the genre has developed and changed in recent years and interrogate your own projects to help you develop scripts with power and excitement.
