'The best course I have been on about writing treatments, so highly recommend it.'
Zamurrad Naqvi - Writer and workshop facilitator
'I went to this course last year. I learnt more in one day than I ever did from I other courses. Met great people and had so much fun. I highly recommend.'
Edwina Tyrrell - Writer-Editor - Online Content Creator
'I attended the Exciting Treatments course early 2011 with Charles Harris. It was an excellent and well structured day. The treatment I wrote as a result was submitted to the Film Agency for Wales and I was awarded a nice bit of money to write the feature length script. I am on my second draft and about to submit it for reading. I would have struggled with the treatment had I not attended the course. It gave me the confidence and tools to create a lean, attention-grabbing story. I am a director and writer with many years experience in TV - factual and drama - but now I am on my way to realizing my true dream as a filmmaker.' Daf Palfrey, writer-director

'An indispensable tool for life as a writer. It helped me to face my problems - which I couldn't do alone and it was interesting to see/hear how many problems we shared as writers.'
Christine Murphy, writer (TV, film, radio, theatre)
The play went very well, thanks. It made pick of the week on Radio 4 and was mentioned again last week in an article about the renaissance of radio drama in The Stage. The big result is that a film producer is talking to my agent now about optioning it. From little acorns... one hopes. I certainly feel like professionally, and mentally, I have turned a corner since the workshop. And to think I was so resistant to NLP at the start! Following the Mental Games course, I let go of my worries about a particular issue and as soon as I did the issue was resolved. I am sleeping better and working more productively. I am learning to apply the techniques you taught us to other areas of my life.
Christine Hoti, screenwriter
'Just wanted to say thanks again for the course, it was a great experience for me and I learned a lot!'
Nico Mensinga, writer
'I found it mind-altering and extremely helpful. Very comprehensive - well controlled.'
Janice Day, screenwriter, published author, writer-producer-performer

(What did you like about this workshop?) 'All of it.'
'The Mental Game workshop was a great way of discovering how to get around the mental barriers that writers sometimes construct, that prevent us from finishing the script, selling the script or getting the commission. It was good to be among other writers who've had the same experience. Charles is wonderful at creating an upbeat and trusting workspace. He's a gentle guide, letting you make your own discoveries, and helping you to examine external and internal realities.Apart from being tons of fun, the role-playing section lets you look at familiar situations from more than one point of view. It gives you the space you need to rehearse better outcomes for the real world. I'd recommend this weekend for anyone who's looking for tools to help them become more creatively productive... I think I've just sold myself a refresher place on the course!'
Seun Okewole, screenwriter
'Just wanted to say a big thank you for Saturday's workshop. I really enjoyed it... the benefits of the day certainly became more apparent to me. I have read a little about NLP before, but you have intrigued me enough to want to pursue it further.'
Susan Wilkins, screenwriter for over 25 years (around 130 broadcast scripts)
'My life and values have all changed incredibly for the better since the workshop! I am writing the sit com pilot - almost complete - and showing it to my partners tomorrow, fingers crossed they will like it only a first draft and a bunch of ideas and scenes, but I've totally felt free doing it and have loved it even though only grabbed hours between the other interesting stuff that's going on. You won't believe it but I even met my young [romantic lead] who has given me helpful ideas for my big script. Charles shows you how to encounter and challenge your creative boundaries and move the first step to success. Without a shadow of a doubt the best £150 I've ever spent.'
Philip Jones, TV producer-director
'No excuses not to act left after the workshop. Useability for life and screenwriting as well.'
Kati Beli, screenwriter
'I've learnt the stuff I'd silenced in myself. Brilliant! Very incisive, precise, speedy, fun.'
Abbie Spallen, multi award-winning playwright, screenwriter and radio writer
'It really helps you to resolve internal conflicts and reinforce the real reasons you write.'
EJ Fisher, aspiring screenwriter
'I wanted to let you all know how fantastic and beneficial the Mental Games weekend was for me. I have sat down and got on with a ground up rewrite of my feature film. Worked hard, completed it, and even made the deadline for the Fellowship. This is a script I've been stuck on for over a year, and in the process of doing this rewrite, I fell in love with writing again.I've since written a short film, and am now hard at work on my sitcom. Thanks to all of you, and especially Charles, for the amazing experience that has changed things significantly for me.'
Leia Vogelle, screenwriter
'Changes the way you think and feel... The "vertical visualisation" session rocks.'
